Third Trimester: Astronomy
We are excited about taking a deeper look into space and our place in the universe. Trying to wrap our heads around the Earth, Moon, Sun interplay will be one focus.

First Trimester: Tools of Science
This Trimester is an introduction to the tools of science. Students will develop knowledge, skills and personal qualities that enhance learning and scientific understanding. A wide variety of teaching practices and techniques will be employed. Examples include but are not limited to demonstrations, discussions, lectures, individual projects, group projects, readings, research, laboratories, reports and observations.
Assessment and grading this trimester will take into account student participation, assignments in class, homework assignments, student projects, student presentations, quizzes and tests.
