How you can help

If you care for snow leopards and want to help save them, there are several things you can do. Through the Snow Leopard Trust, you can help by:

• Shopping at their online store, which benefits snow leopards and the communities that participate in the Snow Leopard Enterprises program.
• Adopting a snow leopard.
• Volunteering.
• Giving a donation or becoming a member of the Snow Leopard Trust. Due to a grant the Trust got that covers their expenses, all donations they receive in 2007 go directly towards conservation.

To pursue any of these actions, visit the Snow Leopard Trust web site by clicking here.

You can also help to protect big cats in general by writing to your local representative and asking him or her to support HR 2711 (The Computer-Assisted Remote Hunting Act), which would ban online hunting in the United States. To find out more information about this act or other acts that would protect big cats, check out the Big Cat Rescue website by clicking here.
